Zelda: Majora's Mask is on the Virtual Console!

For some people, the moon is one of their most pronounced and intense phobias. Just looking at the billion ton rock hovering thousands of miles above us can scare some people out of their pants.

But when a kid pulls a prank and steals a mysterious mask, those crazy people might in fact have a reason to be so fearful.

The moon will fall to the Earth in three days. Can the Hero of Time stop it from destroying the world in that amount of time?

The critically acclaimed sequel to the highest praised videogame of all time is available for 1000 Wii Points on the Virtual Console. You have to control Link to get the Majora's Mask back from the kid that took it before your 3 days are up.

Banjo-Tooie goes to XBLA!

You may have heard rumblings after the festive season had drawn to a close that the Banjo team were back at work. Well, we're happy to reveal that this wasn't just indigestion from the last of the turkey sandwiches, but rather a li'l sum'n sum'n that we've got on the boil to spice up Nuts & Bolts, as well as the incredibly exciting work that we've been putting into the forthcoming release of Banjo-Tooie on Xbox LIVE Arcade. The game will be available to download this April, appropriate since Easter is the designated time for hunting multi-coloured eggs.

In what promises to be amongst the biggest and boldest - and certainly the bear-iest - releases on Xbox LIVE Arcade, Banjo-Tooie will be a note-perfect migration of Banjo and Kazooie's second adventure. In their struggle against Grunty and her wicked sisters, the bear and bird can now rely on the extra grunt supplied by the Xbox 360, bringing with it silky-smooth frame rates and super-sharp HD graphics.

As with the XBLA release of Banjo-Kazooie, you can expect all the fully-featured fun from the original game. But there's more - 4J Studios have dredged the Banjo team's collective memory and implemented the original plan for Stop 'n' Swop, for the first time on any platform ever and after many long years of waiting. Without going into too much detail, the Stop 'n' Swop items collected in Banjo-Kazooie will 'magically' appear in Tooie, resulting in... well, you'll just have to find out. What could be cooler than that? Nothing, that's what - not even Kazooie turning into a dragon.

Toon Panic ROM released

Toon Panic (JP) (Proto)

Title: Toon Panic
Date: 03/12/2008
Company: Bottom Up
Area: JP
System: Nintendo 64
Size: 96 MBITs
Supplier: CARROT

Toon Panic is an original N64 game. It is a 3D arena fighting game in the spirit of Power Stone on Dreamcast. The game was never achieved due to the bankruptcy of its developer, Bottom up. Unfortunately the game is far from beeing complete. There is nice intro with a cool music, no main game, a multiplayer mode but without IA and some debug features.

Enjoy!

Fore! Mario Golf walks in on the Virtual Console!

Mario takes a well-deserved break from his role as the Mushroom Kingdom's busiest hero and returns to the links for some world-class golfing action.

Since no one likes to hit the fairways alone, he's brought along a group of friends -- both familiar characters and brand new ones.

Choose from 10 different modes of play and six 18-hole courses in a variety of environments for a golfing experience with endless replay value.

Add in fun, colorful graphics with a Mario touch (a Boo indicates wind direction), intuitive controls, incredibly deep game play and multiplayer support (taunt your opponents), and you have a game anyone will enjoy -- even if you've never played a round of golf.

Banjo-Kazooie XBLA comes Nov. 26, Banjo-Tooie coming in 2009!

Microsoft announced that Rare's critically acclaimed 1998 N64 platformer will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on November 26 for 1,200 Microsoft points ($15).

As previously announced, gamers can pick the downloadable game up for free and gain access two weeks early by preordering Rare's upcoming Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts at participating retailers. The XBLA game will factor into Rare's latest Xbox 360 exclusive, giving gamers the ability to unlock additional content in Nuts & Bolts when it rides into retail November 11. Banjo-Kazooie also features a graphical update, as well as achievement points.

In addition to dating and pricing Banjo-Kazooie, Microsoft's announcement also revealed that its follow-up, Banjo-Tooie, is slated for an XBLA revival in early 2009. The publisher did not reveal any other details on how the well-reviewed 2000 N64 sequel will be revamped for the current console generation.
